Yes, the bracelet is suitable for both fresh and salt water and can therefore be used in salt water pools without any problems.

Yes, the bracelet uses a standard flat battery (3V type CR 2032) which can be changed using the screwdriver provided. To ensure water resistance, we recommend having this change carried out by a professional.

It is not possible to turn the bracelet off manually, but it switches off automatically after 12 hours of inactivity. It must be reactivated by simultaneously touching the metal points on the bracelet.

Yes, the device can be taken on holiday without any problem. It is recommended to store the base station in the protective bag provided to protect it from sand and other environmental influences.

Yes, the bracelet is resistant to dirt and is designed as a closed unit so that it can be used safely even when playing in the sandpit.

Yes, the bracelet must be activated with a "metal fork" if it has been out of use for more than 12 hours. Alternatively, the metal dots on the bracelet can be touched with a wet or damp finger to activate it. This method helps to extend battery life.

All water alarm systems transmit on the same frequency, 433 MHz. Each system has a special coding that transmits additional information to uniquely identify the different bracelets.

It is recommended to always have a spare battery with you, especially when travelling, so that you can react quickly in the event of a voltage drop in the battery used. The base station can be operated with standard AA batteries, which are available almost everywhere, or with the power plug provided.

If the bracelet leaves the area where it can be received by the base station, a visual and acoustic alarm is immediately triggered. This serves to inform you immediately that the connection no longer exists.

The kit includes a base station, a power adapter, a transparent bag for storing the base station, a red whale (transmitter) with wristband, a screwdriver for changing the batteries, two spare batteries, a key for locking the wristband buckle and a metal plate for activating the transmitter. This comprehensive package ensures you have everything you need for immediate use.

The device has been tested for a variety of chemicals, including cadmium according to EN112, dimethyl fumarate, saliva and sweat simulant according to DIN 53160, plasticizer migration according to DIN EN 71-9, plasticizer laws according to EPA M 1625, solvent migration according to DIN EN 71-9, monomer migration according to DIN EN 71-9, metal migration according to DIN EN 71-3, as well as RoHS and PAHs according to ZEK 01-08. The product has been confirmed to be free of plasticizers and PAHs, where "free" refers to compliance with limit values that are below the legal requirements.

The bracelet is suitable for use in sea water and has been tested in sea water that has an average salinity of 3,5% by weight.

The maximum range between the transmitter (wristband) and the receiver (base station) in an open area is 50 meters, provided there is direct line of sight.

The bracelet's transmitter is 3 bar waterproof, which means it can withstand water pressure up to a depth of 30 meters. Although the bar rating cannot be directly translated into an IP class, the device's water resistance would most likely correspond to protection class IP X8.

The need to change the battery depends on the number of hours the device is used. As soon as the battery voltage drops, the base station prevents the connection to the bracelet and signals the need to change the battery. A new battery should be installed at the beginning of each bathing season; normally the battery lasts for one season, provided it has not been on the store shelf for several years.

The device's alarm signal can reach a volume of up to 100 dB. This is well below the maximum permissible limit of 110 dB to ensure safe operation.

An empty battery condition in the sensor bracelet becomes apparent when the base station no longer recognizes the bracelet and triggers an alarm within 10 seconds of activation.

The complete set weighs a total of 2,00 kg, ideal for transport and use in different locations.

The bracelet is easy to adjust to the size of the wrist and is usually adjusted once per bathing season. Once adjusted, it can be put on and taken off in seconds using a quick release fastener.

The Water Alarm Set uses two different radio frequencies to prevent devices that are close to each other from interfering with each other. When a customer orders another bracelet, the code of the transmitter already in use (01 or 02) must be specified and an additional transmitter with a different color (blue or green) can be ordered. All transmitters used must have the same code, but should be different colors to allow for clear differentiation.

Yes, the base station works with five 1,5V AA batteries (type LR6/AM3). However, it is recommended not to use rechargeable batteries.

Yes, it can be ruled out that child labor is used in the production of the product because the producing company is BSCI certified. This ensures that no human rights violations or child labor are involved.
