Protection that goes with you

What the Luada 2 emergency watch can do

More than just a simple alarm button: The Luada 2 emergency watch combines fall detection, location tracking and hands-free calling in one device.

Automatic fall detection

An integrated sensor automatically registers falls and immediately initiates an emergency call – even if the wearer is no longer able to react.

Precise GPS tracking

In the event of an alarm, registered relatives receive the current location including a map link directly via SMS.

Hands-free calling on the wrist

Calls can be made and received directly via the watch – an additional smartphone is not required.

SOS button for quick help

A longer press of the SOS button will alert up to five saved emergency contacts in succession.

Up to 5 days of battery life

Thanks to the powerful battery, the watch only needs to be charged infrequently; the magnetic charging cradle makes charging even more convenient.

Easy to use

Large buttons and an easy-to-read display were specifically designed to meet the needs of older users.

Note regarding possible cost coverage (Germany): If you have an existing care level rating in Germany, the monthly costs may be partially or fully covered by your German long-term care insurance. However, coverage is not automatically guaranteed and must be reviewed and approved by the responsible long-term care insurance provider on a case-by-case basis. If necessary, you can submit the required documents to your German long-term care insurance provider for review. However, there is no automatic entitlement to reimbursement.
Note regarding product comparisons: Please note that the comparisons with smartwatches and personal emergency response systems refer to conventional, commercially available products and are for general guidance only. Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Luada 2 emergency watch waterproof?

The watch meets protection class IP67 and is therefore protected against splashing water and dust. Wearing it in the shower is therefore no problem.

Charging is wireless via an included magnetic charging station – simply place it on the station, and you're done. In everyday use, the battery lasts up to five days, and with more frequent use, about two to three days. If the battery level drops significantly, you will automatically receive a notification via SMS.

Yes, the Luada 2 comes with a two-year warranty, which is significantly more than the legal minimum requirement of twelve months.

2G, 3G, and 4G networks are supported, including roaming, making it usable in most European countries – such as Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Italy, and Spain. If you are unsure about coverage in a specific country, we recommend contacting customer service.

There is a 30-day return period. If you are not satisfied within this period, you can return the watch and receive a full refund.

Yes – within the EU and in Switzerland, location tracking and emergency call functions work without restrictions thanks to roaming.

No, each Luada 2 is set up for exactly one wearer, as emergency contacts, location tracking, and fall detection are individually configured. For multiple users, a separate watch is recommended.

Yes, to a limited extent: Fall detection and location tracking work independently of cognitive status, but actively triggering the SOS button can become difficult in advanced stages. In such cases, the package with a connected emergency call center is recommended.

If you choose the service package with setup, the watch arrives fully configured – emergency contacts can then be added via SMS. Without this package, a separate nano-SIM card is used, and configuration is done automatically via SMS commands. German-speaking support is available for any questions.

Those ordering the watch without the "SIM & Setup" package will need their own nano-SIM card. The provider and tariff type are freely selectable – a tariff with unlimited calls, texts, and data is recommended to ensure all functions can be used without restriction. Instructions and a tool for inserting the card are included; PIN verification must be deactivated using a smartphone before installation.

The watch supports 2G, 3G, and 4G networks, making it more future-proof than many competitors that often rely on older 2G technology. Since it's SIM-free, you can freely choose any mobile network provider to ensure the best network coverage in your area.

The device only requires around 50 MB per month, comparable to about ten WhatsApp messages a day. This is perfectly sufficient for location tracking, security updates, and all other functions. Even if the data allowance is used up, the emergency call function remains fully operational.

A nano-SIM (4FF format) is required – the smallest common SIM card size, which is now issued as standard by all providers. Larger SIM formats can usually be exchanged for a nano-SIM free of charge by your provider.

Included are a pre-activated SIM card, complete setup including emergency contact registration, and a flat rate for calls and texts. The watch arrives ready to use immediately – simply unpack and switch it on; no technical knowledge is required.

The monthly fee is €14,95. This includes the mobile phone contract, the full data allowance for the watch, and priority support. The contract has a minimum term of 12 months and can be cancelled thereafter with 30 days' notice.

Yes, after the minimum contract period of 12 months, cancellation is possible at any time with 30 days' notice. After cancellation, the watch can easily continue to be used with your own SIM card.

The emergency call center is operated by a TÜV-certified service provider specializing in emergency call services, based in Germany. Medically trained staff are available 24/7, 365 days a year.

Connection to the 24/7 emergency call center costs €34 per month. This includes all services of the "SIM & Setup" package, including a SIM card, continuous availability of the call center, professional coordination in emergencies, and notification of relatives.

The contract has a minimum term of twelve months and is automatically renewed for one month at a time; from this point on, it can be cancelled monthly. With annual payment, the term is extended by another twelve months. Within the first 30 days, the watch and emergency call center can be tested risk-free and, if necessary, cancelled, provided the watch is returned undamaged.

Yes, the connection to the emergency call center can be added to an existing watch at a later date. Activation usually takes place within 48 hours of signing the contract and submitting the necessary information.

When triggered, a voice connection to the emergency call center is immediately established. The trained staff knows the stored data and – if the location tracking was successful – the current location. Depending on the situation, relatives are informed, the emergency services are alerted, or further measures are initiated; the call center remains in contact throughout.

Not during normal operation. Only when inserting your own SIM card – i.e., without the service package – is a smartphone briefly required to deactivate the PIN request for the card.

Yes. All essential functions – emergency call, phone calls, and location tracking – are integrated directly into the watch and operate independently of a paired smartphone. Further settings can be adjusted via a simple SMS command, even from an older mobile phone.

In an emergency, the watch automatically contacts up to five pre-defined emergency contacts sequentially until someone is reached. Simultaneously, the current GPS location is transmitted via SMS. This function remains active even with a critically low battery, and the SOS button is large enough to be easily operated even in stressful situations.

Accidental activation is prevented by a three-second press duration of the SOS button and a brief warning. Should the alarm nevertheless start unintentionally, it can be easily canceled within the first few seconds.

The watch repeatedly calls up to five saved contacts in succession and simultaneously sends a text message with the GPS location to all registered contacts. If the 24/7 emergency call center is also subscribed to, it takes over coordination if no one in the user's personal network can be reached.

The underlying motion sensor is specifically designed for the typical movement patterns of older people, which means false alarms are rare. If one does occur, the alarm can be silenced within approximately 30 seconds; the detection sensitivity can also be adjusted via SMS.

The tracking system combines GPS, GLONASS, and Wi-Fi: outdoors, the accuracy is approximately 5 to 10 meters, and indoors, it's around 15 to 30 meters using Wi-Fi tracking. In an emergency, relatives receive a link to Google Maps directly via SMS.

Accepted payment methods include credit card (Visa, Mastercard), PayPal, SEPA direct debit, instant bank transfer, and – after verification – purchase on account. All payments are processed via encrypted, secure connections.

Shipping typically takes place within 1-2 business days after payment is received, and delivery within Germany then also takes 1-2 business days. A tracking number allows you to track your shipment.

Shipping within Germany is free. For deliveries to other EU countries, a flat shipping fee of €9,90 is charged, which is waived for orders over €150.
