Frequently Asked Questions

How does the watch's intelligent fall detection work?

Fall detection works in three phases: detection of a fall, identification of an impact and an observation phase. If no movement is detected after an impact, an emergency call is automatically made. If there is movement after the impact, the automatic emergency call is prevented to minimize false alarms. An emergency call can then be triggered manually.

If you are unable to move after a fall, the watch will automatically send an emergency call as soon as the fall detection registers an accident without subsequent movement.

Yes, the watch is fully functional without the emergency base station. However, the base station offers enhanced functionality such as improved indoor tracking and more efficient geofence features.

Yes, the watch can be connected directly to a 24-hour emergency call center. Cooperation with well-known emergency call centers such as the German Red Cross, Johannitercall and Lazariter ensure a professional emergency response.

The service fee is €60 per year (€5 per month). It covers all emergency calls, position queries and the use of the integrated SIM card to ensure the full functionality of the watch and can be canceled at any time.

The battery life is around 5 days of continuous use by default. By activating energy saving options such as "Nighttime sleep" or "Home emergency call", the battery life can be extended to up to 100 days, depending on the mode selected.

The watch is a standalone phone with an integrated GPS receiver and built-in SIM card. In an emergency, you can quickly make an emergency call using the one-button operation.

The watch is robustly constructed and waterproof, making it ideal for constant use in demanding working conditions.
