Frequently Asked Questions

How does the watch's intelligent fall detection work?

The watch's fall detection works in three phases: detection of a fall, identification of an impact and an observation phase. If no movement is detected after an impact, the watch automatically sends an emergency call. If there is movement after the impact, the automatic emergency call is prevented to minimize false alarms. An emergency call can also be triggered manually.

If you are unable to move after a fall, the watch will automatically send an emergency call as soon as the fall detection registers an accident without subsequent movement. This ensures quick help, even if you are unable to trigger the alarm yourself.

The watch has a one-button operation and a built-in phone with GPS receiver. In an emergency, you can quickly and easily make an emergency call without the need for another device.

The watch is robustly constructed and waterproof, making it ideal for everyday use and especially safe for seniors who may be at increased risk of falls.

The standard battery life is about 5 days. By enabling power saving modes such as “Nighttime Sleep”, the battery life can be extended to up to 100 days, depending on usage.

The annual service fee is €60 (€5 per month) and covers all emergency calls, location queries and the use of the integrated SIM card. It can be canceled at any time and guarantees the full functionality of the watch.

Yes, the watch can be connected to a 24-hour emergency call center. There are partnerships with renowned services such as the German Red Cross, Johannitercall and Lazariter to provide professional support in an emergency.

Yes, the watch will work without the emergency call base station. However, the base station expands the functionality to include improved indoor tracking and efficient geofence functions, which are especially useful for seniors with dementia.
