The founders Niklas Engfer, Britta Hermann and Raimund Fischer met in May 2020 through a care blog. From the good conversations about the personal concerns and stresses of caring for a relative, it quickly became apparent that everyone had the same aspirations. Because when a loved one becomes a need for care, this was hardly possible for a long period of time, in addition to work and private life.

To name just a few reasons why caring for relatives is increasingly putting a strain on yourself: shift work, your own family also had to be looked after, and you no longer had the time to be with your relatives 100 percent, because of the distance there was - the relative did not live in the immediate area - or everyday working life also had to be mastered.

The company Pflegehero was founded based on these aspects, namely that more can be done for the care of relatives and for the relatives themselves. Little by little, the concept for Pflegehero was defined based on one's own experiences, as one had once taken on the care and support of parents, relatives and acquaintances.

On the one hand, you have your own family to look after and on the other hand, you also have to work professionally.
