Yes. It is a common flat battery (3V type CR 2032), which can be changed using the included screwdriver. However, we recommend having the battery replaced by a specialist so that absolute watertightness can still be guaranteed.

Changing the battery depends on the hours of use of the device. As soon as the battery voltage drops slightly, the base station no longer allows connection to the bracelet and requires a battery change. We recommend using a new battery at the beginning of each season. The battery voltage is usually sufficient for one bathing season. Provided that the battery has not been sitting on the store shelf for several years.

You should always have a spare battery with you so that you can react quickly in the event of a voltage drop in the battery used. A fresh set of batteries will last for 6 months. The base station can be operated with these batteries (AA-Mignon), which you can also get in every holiday resort if they become empty. In addition, the base station can be operated with the included power plug.

The bracelet can be easily adjusted to the size of your wrist. This is usually done once per bathing season. It can then be easily taken off and put on in just a few seconds using a quick-release fastener.

The maximum range in open areas is 50 meters. This means there is visual contact from the base station (receiver) to the transmitter (bracelet).

No, but the bracelet switches off automatically after 12 hours. After this time or when it is used again, it must be activated again by touching the metal points at the same time.
