What is behind the jewelry alarm bracelet?
Silent alarm
You can trigger the silent alarm using a button or using the LAEMON app. The silent alarm is very useful because it allows you to discreetly communicate that you need help. This can be done both via the app and via the jewelry bracelet.
How is the alarm on the bangle triggered?
There is a push button on the decorative hoop that you have to hold down for three seconds or longer. A text message with the GPS data is then sent to the emergency contacts stored in the app or directly via the app if a silent emergency call would be possible.
The silent alarm can only be deactivated via the app on the mobile phone. The function is displayed directly when opening the app. If you stop the alarm, another text message will be sent to the emergency contacts informing you that the situation has been resolved. You should still insure yourself again and contact the relevant person. Protection of privacy is also extremely important with this product.
Here, the location transmission was programmed so that it only starts in the event of an alarm and stops a maximum of three hours after activation if it has not already been stopped manually in the meantime. It is important that all data is transferred exclusively to European servers to ensure the greatest possible data security. Data is stored for approximately 4 weeks if an alarm has been activated - after which it is deleted.
The security of your data is extremely important and should be protected as best as possible. Can you track the person via the jewelry bracelet? No – only when the alarm is triggered.
Loud alarm
The 120 dB acoustic alarm or siren can be triggered with a finger on the chain on the lower part of the alarm hoop.
To turn off the siren, put the chain back into the bracelet. It is important that the silent alarm is still active - you would have to deactivate it via the app.

The app
In the event of an emergency, family members, friends or an emergency call center can be informed via the app. At the same time, all contacts are contacted via SMS, if desired, and the GPS data from the location is transmitted as a link in an SMS message. You can use the app to manage contacts and also activate or deactivate the additional “WayGuard” emergency call center at any time. You can also set in the app so that only the control center is informed.
The emergency call center of the design bracelet with alarm function would also receive the location. The control center of the WayGuard from AXA is an additional service that can be booked or deactivated at any time via the app. AXA offers a companion app called WayGuard that has been established for years, which allows users to be accompanied by trained employees by telephone on the way home.
The WayGuard control center is available around the clock, seven days a week. If a false alarm were to occur, you could cancel the alarm within the next 10 seconds via the app or with just one click. In this context, we would like to mention that the app works both alone and in combination with women's jewelry or bangles.
